Our studio takes a unique approach to function and fitness. We are able to readily combine Pilates, Personal Training and Medical Fitness programming into your workout. This approach gives way to providing you with the best individualized results possible so you do not have to choose one service over another! Each session works to improve your strength, endurance, flexibility, core, balance, function, posture and other specific goals. Perseverance also allows you the option to pair their training services with an optional membership. We will build a program integrating proven fitness methods to improve your life and help you reach your goals!

Your first session will begin with a complimentary 30-minute consultation* prior to your assessment workout where your specific needs will be evaluated. A progressive plan will be discussed entailing all applicable services!

* Actual consultation minutes may vary based on individual needs and preferences.

Personal Training

1:1 and PARTNER SESSIONS

Personal Training traditionally focuses on weight training to work toward specific goals. Since modes of training are usually a matter of preference, this is a great option for clients who like to work with resistance exercises, lift weights and "feel" the immediate work. It is the preferred method for creating lean body mass and decreasing body fat.

Couple this with Pilates sessions for an excellent toning workout!

Small Group Training

This is a popular trend in the fitness world today. Whether it’s losing weight or trimming & toning, small group sessions will improve your health and have you feeling great.

While we can accommodate modifications in these sessions, groups are level-based and require a chat with the instructor prior to attending your first session!

HEALING AND FUNCTION THROUGH MOVEMENT

Fitness is more than what your body looks like on the outside. It is driven by what is happening on the inside! Listen and respond appropriately, working through the pain is not the answer.

In these 1:1 sessions you will still work hard, yet efficiently to minimize set backs. We will modify "traditional" strength training and Pilates exercises based on your current functional status ensuring it is effective, appropriate and progressive . As your body trains, you will learn how to manage symptoms, discomfort, and "rescue" remedies should a flare up occur. 

 

We work together to help you find the right balance.

Pilates

1:1 and DUET SESSIONS

Pilates is an all-encompassing exercise method targeting core activation while improving total body flexibility, overall strength, alignment, posture, lengthening, and injury management and prevention.

Once used to train soldiers for war before making its way into dance then the athletic worlds of MLB, NHL, NFL, etc., the applications of Pilates concepts are endless. Add to it the extensive line of top of the line apparatus at Perseverance and you are sure to see results!

Core & Pilates Mat

MAKING MOVEMENT COUNT

Learn to use the opposition within your body to create resistance without the need for equipment. Learn to safely stretch and lengthen the body,  activate the entire core, and effectively perform mat and core exercises with and without props.
Pilates mat is the basis for all workouts!
